SAFETY

Here at LEO Construction, safety is always our top priority. Our full-time safety staff and progressive safety programs are indicative of LEO's "safety first" mindset. Monthly safety meetings, toolbox talks, and thorough training programs help give our employees the knowledge and tools they need to remain safe on the job site. When undertaking new projects, LEO Construction takes safety measures and precautions into account and bids accordingly.

LEO Construction stays heavily involved within the safety community, regularly attending the Northern Virginia Damage Prevention meetings, and other regional safety events/conferences. LEO is one of the pioneer members of Dominion Energy's "Golden Shovel Program".

FLEET

LEO Construction has a top of the line fleet of over 175 vehicles and heavy machinery. A fleet this diverse gives us the ability to approach any job from a variety of different angles to ensure the safest, most efficient, and cost-effective way of completion. Description:

LEO mobilizes a large excavator fleet with machines of all shapes and sizes. From Mini-Excavators for electrical services and smaller projects to large Rubber-Tire Backhoes and various Komatsu Excavators for mainline installation and larger tasks, each machine type plays a different role. LEO's Komatsu PC490LC-110 Excavator(left) is 105,000 lbs. of pure excavation power! When it's time to get digging, the PC490 gets the job done.

 

Kenworth Knuckle-Boom Crane

Description:

LEO’s Kenworth Knuckle-Boom Crane is the ultimate material hauler. This machine is capable of lifting up to 45,000 lbs. The knuckle-boom is used to set both transformers and manholes, as well as haul all types of materials to various job sites. With a 63 foot reach, the boom can place a load of material in someones yard without ever disturbing the soil. 

 

 

 

Articulated Dumps

Description:

LEO's articulated dumps haul materials in and out of the job site no matter the terrain. These powerful off-road vehicles are both versatile and maneuverable. The dump beds are equipped with a pivot function, allowing for the precision placement and loading of materials and spoils.

Description:

Driving around Northern Virginia, you are bound to see the flashy blue and pink decaled LEO trucks, traveling to and from job sites. Our fleet of Ford F 150-550s get our crews to the job site safe, comfortable, and in style. A variety of other specialized vehicles are all dedicated to specific tasks: Maintanence/Service, Manhole Work, Setting Utility Poles, etc.
