Ste Therese of Lisieux: France 1873 – 1897

The “Little Flower” was only 24 when she died but believed her life was just beginning, promising to spend her heaven doing “good on earth” and to send a “shower of roses”. This created a torrent of interest in her which has never stopped. She was designated a Doctor of the Church in 1997 because of her “little way”. She believed and taught that “everything is grace” and wrote a best seller, her biography “Story of a Soul”.
