REBUILDING & RESTORATION SHOP POLICIES

• A 50% deposit is required to commence work
• A 25% deposit is required at mid-point of project
• Balance due upon project completion
• Please allow 4-6 months for complete restoration
• An Emergency Service Visit Fee of $25.00 may be applied to all appointments booked less than 1 week in advance
• An Emergency Service Visit Fee of $50.00 may be applied to all appointments booked less than 3 days in advance
• Parts not included
•  Transportation & cartage not included
• Parking or parking fees to be provided by client
• A late fee of $5 per month will be assessed to all invoices over 30 days

TERMS

•  Maintenance Contracts: Net 30
• Structural repairs guaranteed for 3 years under normal conditions
• Instruments not picked up after 30 days will be charged storage
• Fred's Piano Service, LLC not liable for instruments left for 90 days
• We reserve the right to take possession of instruments left over 90 days without payment
•  Estimates valid for 12 months
• All Service Visits must be scheduled 1 month in advance to qualify for discount rates
• Action Rebuilding: Parts Warranty, 3 years defect or breakage
•  Action Rebuilding: Labor Warranty, 90 days

CONDITIONS

• Fred's Piano Service, LLC is fully bonded & insured. Certificate on request
• FPS is a climate-controlled environment, not a humidity-controlled environment
• Liability for rental and loaner instruments is client’s sole responsibility
• Failed service appointments will be billed at concert rates
• FPS is not liable for normal wear-and-tear to instruments
• FPS reserves the right to rent consigned pianos for advertisement purposes
• Storage is at the client's sole risk and responsibility

Please Note: Estimates are based on inspection of the instrument’s condition as of a certain date, temperature and humidity. Additional work may be revealed only after the case and action are disassembled. Fred’s Piano Service, LLC will notify you of any unexpected problems, but will not perform any labor to correct it until you have approved the extra labor and its respective costs (if applicable).
